Relocate Charlotte Magazine is a resource guide for people moving to the Charlotte area. The magazine consist of 4 main sections based off of geographical locations, North Charlotte, East Charlotte, South Charlotte, and West Charlotte. Each area has its own personality, and so to help people moving to Charlotte, or if you're planning on moving across town, this guide will help you find all the right places.
All of the creative direction, graphic design, and most of the photography was done by me (unless noted otherwise). I was in charge of laying out the whole issue, coming up with the overall theme and look, hiring freelance writers and working with a sales team on placing ads. I designed a few of the ads, but not all of them (page 2 & 23) however, since this was our first issue, I placed a few mock ads to show what your ad could look like in the magazine (pages 9, 21, 30, & 35).
This project took me slightly over a month to complete, however we did have some dead space waiting for articles or advertisements to come in. I used InDesign mostly to design all the layouts and some of the graphics and Photoshop was used to do photo editing.
